Also to answer the LSP "from scratch" question, no not if we use a CMS.
That's sort of the point, right?  Let the framework manage content, and we
customize it to suit our needs.

What we absolutely need is a hand made conversion utility to bulk import
our existing content (and users if technically feasible).  The conversion
may be as much effort as the new LSP creation because you would need to
invoke the CMS API or use a 3rd party utility for importing.  CMSs
generally don't have human readable schema, so utilizing the we framework
for importing data is a necessary evil from my experience.
