No, no attempts or plans to test theme changes. I do have an open item for
font readability and Vesa has already offered some patches to address that.
I'm curious as to the motivation of this question? Is it motivated on
behalf of the community members asking for an option to revert themes? If
so, I think that will become more possible down the road and Vesa could
speak more on behalf of that.
