No, your not the only one. It would be fairly simple in theory as we could
stack a handful of audiofile processors on one track although the ability
to load other instruments would be fantastic too.
Vesa has a proposal for per-note enhancements that might cover this but a
proper drum pad which has the typical midi layout and percussion
arrangement for a drum pad or swapped with other VST drumpad arrangements
with the click of a preset would be terrifically useful.
We might have a bug report for this... I'll have to check.
