I'm OK with this, we're just close to tax season in the US.  Are you saying
to use the funds to pay for their own taxes?  The issue with this is, it's
not earned income.  It's sort of in money purgatory... I'm not even sure
how I would report it.

Another option is to ask a foundation to help with this.  I don't mind the
idea of keeping this small, it's just these are the things that the lead
would investigate and take care of.
