No, RC10 has been very stable for me personally, but I haven't spent more
than a few hours with it (Mostly on Mac)
If you can reproduce your problem, please file a bug report. There may
also be some issues that are XP only that you are suffering from. If you
can set up an Ubuntu VM and recreate your crash in Wine, that generally has
a usable backtrace, but without the steps to reproduce the problem, it will
be hard to isolate a problem.
Furthermore, there is some attention on some newly discovered RC10 bugs
that may be related, so please follow the tracker in that regard.
