Hello,

This is a bug of Qt and not of lmms. It is already fixed in the newer qt-5 version. I already changed to ubuntu vivid and this doesn't happen for me, but I could reproduce this by using moc-qt4 instead of moc. The Qt bug report can be found here: https://bugreports.qt-project.org/browse/QTBUG-35480

You're talking running, he's talking building, i.e. /[ 24%] Scanning dependencies of target midiimport/

You are right in the sense that he will encounter other problems, but the way our build script works with paths is completely separate from the way our software works with paths. Had this been the but you are describing, I would have linked it: #1325 <https://github.com/LMMS/lmms/issues/1325>, but again that's for an internal problem with our LMMS code, not our build scripts.

LMMS didn't support any other than English characters before, so
    it could be
some code have been forgotten when changed to UTF8. Not sure how
    much that
helps, Tres probably gave a better answer, but maybe changing to
    English
    characters will solve it?
