Hello Hashi,

And to the question "why not use an ordinary Linux distro?"
You miss a lot of dependencies (Qt stuff, libportmidi etc.) which
probably means you have to compile all that stuff yourself before you
can compile LMMS.
That's valuable time. Time in which you could install a Linux distro
with LMMS and make music.
But to each his own of course, if you want to use FreeBSD to make music,
 you're free to do so.
