-march=pentium3 -msse2 -mfpmath=sse -ftree-vectorize and I did not have any of the instant crashes anymore :-) Rendering the same project now roughly took 4,5 instead of 7 minutes (with the old version).. So please give http://www.tu-chemnitz.de/~doto/lmms/lmms-0.4.7-win32-sse2.exe a try and if there are no complaints, I'll make it the default download for Win32 soon. Packages of LMMS 0.4.7 for Lucid are now available in my PPA as well. Toby
