I agree with Toby.  He and I first started talking about possibly
renaming when Toby finally got the Windows version to work.  Toby was
not optimistic about the name change at that point in time.  For good
reasons:  LMMS is already a recognized brand, we already own the
search results, hassle in updating things like URLs, email addresses,
etc.  Then, I started to work on controller support (LFO and MIDI). I
bought my Oxygen 49 at a local music store for testing.  The sales
clerk asked me what software I will use it with.  This was the first
time I realized how hard it is to say "El Em Em Es" After that, I've
never been able to say it without thinking about how odd it is.  Even
around friends I tend to just utter "El Em Es".

So: Hard to pronounce, Not Linux-only, Not multi-media, Not visually
appealing either.

There have been some really good suggestions since we opened up this
discussion.  Toby and I still need to pick out our favorites, but I'm
not in any hurry.
