Hi All,

Tim,
I will quickly respond on some quotes.

But then, using the same large font size all the time, how do we display long
track names in the mixer strips? With ellipses (...)?

yes, with ellipses and line breaks (two lines) and font need to be always
same size.

Regarding the text colour's contrast with the label background colour:
The label background colours never go darker than a certain amount.
But if they did, a simple fix can add inverted the text colour depending on
 label background colour.

Still thinking that label text should be always with same color.

Some users may want 12pt and some 14pt.
Our adjustable font sizes allow this.

I think that users have to many unnecessary options sometimes in open
source software. If font size is too small, all users will want bigger
font. If font is normal size, all users will be satisfied.

Tell me which DAWs you are thinking of with horizontal sliders.

Renoise, Studio One, Samplitude,..

I would only half-jokingly ask "Why aren't other DAWs like MusE?"
Yes, MusE is different.

Tell me one thing that is better in Muse and different than in other DAWs.

The icons could optionally even be letters.

The best option.

I am just wondering what would
be displayed in the boxes' label when a route is connected:
Does the text change from "No Input" to something like "Input" ?

When is connected there would be shown name of input track.

Few days ago I posted redesigned UI for LMMS on their forum and I see they
put that on bounty source.

It seems that users like that design.
