Hi, I just wanted to report I switched from *buntu 14.04 LTS distro
to recent 15.10 and found some things:

1:
The bug with the popup menus requiring two clicks,
which I reported in the forums was a Qt bug, is gone.

2:
The drawing bug where things like selection rectangles
are missing lines, and midi velocity graph lines have randomly
 varying width, is also gone.

Looks like those were both Qt bugs :-)

3:
After I tweaked the arranger audio automation graph drawing
last week, I notice now on this distro that grabbing and manipulating
a graph vertex really slows down, which it didn't on the old distro.
Investigating...

4:
At first there seemed to be a bug when switching MusE style in
Appearance Settings. I was unable to click on anything in the arranger.
Investigating...

5:
This is really a theme thing, but I notice on this distro that
GUI controls are reeeally big. For example the automation
combo box at the bottom of our mixer strips is waaay too big.
If these distros keep increasing the size of the bloody controls
I think we may have to design an array of custom controls
 from the ground up ;-)
So tired of wrestling with accomodating system styles.
Kind of makes me understand why the OOM team made
a complete custom stylesheet. They once said "MusE should
not be a dektop application". Perhaps some truth to that idea...

Tim.
