That's a good start. To this I'd add: 1. Support for multiple concurrent I/O interfaces 2. Traffic replay capability
The latter is to be able to take things like Wireshark sample captures <https://wiki.wireshark.org/SampleCaptures> and send them to a DUT for validation testing.
