Loadstone does work with external bluetooth receivers, sort of. The receiver has to be compatable with the iPhone specifically. This is an iOS limitation, the only way I've ever heard of to connect a GPS receiver (like the ones used with the old Nokia version) would be to jail break your phone. Even then the program would have to support it specifically. With external iPhone compatable receivers you just connect the receiver and anything on the phone that uses GPS will just use it. Even if your phone is saying no signal it may still have something, it just might not be very good. There are signal thresholds that define a good signal, weak signal, and no signal. These are just to let you know about the condition so you can decide if the information you're getting is any good or not. The phone never seems to really report no signal, the accuracy just gets worse and worse. In one case I saw the accuracy value go up to 24000 metres, obviously not a usable value but still reported as a signal. Exporting a database to Pointshare is pretty easy, just go to the databases tab, go to points, find the file you want to export and then just swipe up or down until you get to the send to Pointshare option. Just select that option and the upload will start. You don't have to do the export step if you don't want to. If you have exported a database then the same goes from the exported points file list. Only points that belong to you will be saved to Pointshare so it's ok to send a database that contains other points, it'll just report those as not imported to Pointshare. There's a much better explanation of all of this in the documentation that can be found in the help section.

First, I suggest having Loadstone work with Bluetooth so it can work
with external Bluetooth receivers. Second, my IPhone 6S says "no
signal when it seems to get a signal. What might be happening?

Third, how do I export my database to pointshare with the crrent
version of Loadstone from my phone? I know how to import my points
but not how to export my data.

Thank You,
