Hi Nicole,

Hi All,

Following a mail from Natalie there is something I would like to clarify.
In row 6 of the review pages it says who did the translation, and this often
says Alpha.
This suggests we did whole pages, which was very often not the case. The
files we were given to translate contained new/changed sentences and
paragraphs from here, there, and everywhere. When the Help was compiled
these were inserted in their respective places in a previous translation. So
pages look like they were translated by Alpha, whereas in fact we only did
several sentences or paragraphs on those pages. (Which is not to say, there
are no changes required in those sentences/paragraphs.)
I don't believe that we ever blamed you (or Alpha) for bad work. There were in the begin some people who had told that the translation was (very) good. When I start with the reviews I found out that the translation was not so good als was told and that I have written on this site and I mean that. I never had blamed someone for that. We had to review this translation and in my opinion we do that as a team and you (and Alpha) in that team. Quarreling in a team is never good for the result. If it is necessary (what I don't think) then I will do that at the end of the reviews, but not while we are reviewing then we act like a team.

As a variation of something Dick G wrote in another (earlier) mail: You're never "on the hook" and I hope that you (and Alpha) stay on board, so that we can bring this ship to his destination.

With regards,
Henk van der Burg.
