Hi Bert and All,
first of all, apologies for not coming back to you on this earlier. I
actually did miss this mail. It is getting very difficult for me to
*monitor* this list and filter out wthat is addressed to me and what is
not ... so just in case, I would like to ask you to cc: every time to
would like me to answer to the list.
As for the corrections, yes, Santiago and Nicole will start on Monday.
We have provided them with all the Help files, and as I see from the
mails, you have confirmed the QA matrices Alpha should look at for the
correction in Calc.
Attached, a table which contains the process as well as the schedule
details. In general, the approach Alpha will follow is more or less what
we discussed before:
Alpha will categorize the errors reported in the QA forms as
A) language errors
B) non-language errors
The non-language errors will be highlighted as such and will be fixed
depending on the nature of the error reported - most probably via
issuezilla.
The language erros will be categorized as Priority 1 (all easy-fixes,
non-time consuming errors) and Priority 2 (time-consuming errors)
Alpha will correct all errors classified as 1 in Calc as well as most of the
ones classified as 2 (depending on the time they take). While correcting the
errors, Alpha will identify errors which are global errors and therefore need
to be fixed throughout the files. During this phase Alpha will correct as much
as possible global errors classified as 1 globally in the Help files.
Then we will start with Writer or another component.....
We think that the advantage of this approiach is that we keep the focus on one
component and at the same time, we start carrying out global corrections in the
whole Help, so that when we start working on the next component we may find
that some global errors have already been fixed....
Any questions? Just let me and Santiago know

Hi Rafaella, Santiago, Nicole and everybody else,
I was wondering how things are coming together with fixing the found
errors in the help files. Is everything going according to plan/whishes?
Regards,
Bert
