Hi Jono, hi locoteams list, Ubuntu-be.org has a few questions about receiving or buying Ubuntu cd's from Canonical, and about pressing localized cds ourselves. Other locoteams might find this interesting, so cc-ing the list.
* How does Canonical currently decide if it will honour a request for free cds from a locoteam? What criteria are taken into account, apart from the number of cd's already sent out? Who sets this policy? * Canonical offers bulk sales of Ubuntu cds at €1,5/cd. Ubuntu-be.org could put about 2000 LTS cds to very good use at ten fairs during spring 2007. We don't want to budget €3000 though. Does Canonical offer a discount to approved locoteams? * Hints on the technical aspects of creating a localized Ubuntu cd? Contact information of people who have done so already in particular might be very interesting.
