I'd rather see this kind of information on the homepage and /teams page, instead of the /about page for two reasons:
1) I assume that loco.ubuntu.com/about will contain information about loco.ubuntu.com, not loco teams and advocacy in general. 2) Most people don't go to "About" links on websites unless they're interested in some technical or organizational information about the site itself. Putting advocacy information there means it won't get the exposure you are hoping for. -- About page should be about LoCo Teams, not the directory https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/610498 You received this bug notification because you are a member of loco- directory-dev, which is the registrant for loco-directory. Status in LoCo Directory: Triaged Bug description: Taking a look at http://loco.ubuntu.com/about/ it provides lots of information about the LoCo Directory, but not the general LoCo advocacy project. We should use this page as a visually interesting and information rich page that explains what LoCo Teams do, why people should care and how they can join a team. I think the LoCo Council could provide some awesome content for this page. :-) _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~loco-directory-dev Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~loco-directory-dev More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
