I'm thinking we add a field for RSVP_URL, if it's blank we use our registration system, if it has a value we point the "Register for this Event" link to the given URL, and disable our own.

Status in LoCo Directory: Triaged Bug description: some events like for example this event http://loco.ubuntu.com/events/team/285/detail/ we want in the loco directory, but registration is being handled elsewhere, in this instance here: http://u-cubed.eventbrite.com/ I don't want users confused into thinking that if they register their attendance on the loco directory that actually means they are registered for the event. Some events might have chargeable registration or we need more information from the attendees (like what food they are bringing for a bring a dish geeknic), in these instances we would want to turn off the loco directory registration to avoid confusion as to how they are supposed to register. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~loco-directory-dev Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~loco-directory-dev More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
