How about if the nick is present in LP then use that? It's not very consistant with the actual meetings. I use 'ebel' as an IRC nick, and 'rorymcc' as a launchpad name. If I'm chairing a meeting, then someone will wonder when 'rorymcc' will start chairing the meeting.
