Public bug reported:

There appears to be a slew of Twitter Spammers using the hash tags of
certain groups. Unfortunately these get picked up by the microblogging
widget on the loco directory and overtake any useful conversations that
might be there. Would it be possible to reduce the amount of SPAM;
either by not including items that reference a number of loco hash tags,
or some other means?

Thanks!
