Hello folks, the first three months in the incubator we need to file podling reports. Later, when you are part of the Logging project again, the current chair will file the reports. At the moment this is me.
however it makes sense if log4cxx would draft a report itself. Its a good thing to learn about the processes here and of course you should take the chance to write up what you think about your project. Please note that reports are not so "in-depth" actually, just speaking of the next steps for the podling and showing any problems (legals etc). Usually reports are prepared in private and some projects publish them later. At the incubator all are public by default. When the report is filed, mentors will sign it. In addition an incubator shepherd will check on the project just in case mentors are not here. Any volunteers?
