Hi Thorsten,

thank you for your quick response. I am going to stick to the instructions for
0.10.0:
https://logging.apache.org/log4cxx/building/vstudio.html

Before I start compiling the trunk: have the dependencies of log4cxx changed?
The instructions describes compiling 0.10.0 with apr-1.2.11 and apr-util-1.2.10.
Does the current trunk compile with the current Apache Portable Runtime (1.5.2
and 1.5.4 respectively)?

Best regards,

  Torsten

No, I simply don't have the time to deal with a release and try to focus on
support and a bit bug fixing.

Welcome to the club! ;-)

Should be, I used VS Express 2013(?) last year and it did work.

Combine both by getting the current trunk to build on your environment using
some of the officially documented ways and write down everything you needed to
change or which didn't work in the build process or such and then we'll change
the docs.

I did that the first time with VS myself and already changed some parts, but
there where people reporting that the official docs to build using Maven and
Ant are still not good enough.
