A workaround is applied to current trunk for this problem:

Additionally have a look at the related/linked issues. Especially
yours, but even the current version of log4cxx has problems with
thread-safetiness because of LOGCXX-322. Some workarounds are applied
at trunk to make it somewhat working, though.
