Thanks for the info. I will make another go at it tonight.
And so as I don't appear to be just bashing on Eclipse, I do like the java editor. It is the first editor I have used in a long while that is actually helping instead of hindering. And the support in the console window to be able to click on the javac error and jump to the offending line of code...excellent. Like I said, I am climbing the IDE learning curve here...:-)
Eclipse is both powerful and user friendly. It is also getting better as time passes. Although initially somewhat daunting, learning Eclipse is well worth the investment.
