JULBridge and Receivers module

I began to do a local working copy svn move from the JUL bridge into  
the log4j-receivers module.  But then I stopped, because the JUL  
bridge requires JDK1.4, and I didn't want to pollute the receivers  
module with that dependency just yet.

I'll instead work towards making the bridge contain a plugin class.
thoughts?
