Curt Arnold resolved LOG4J2-22.
-------------------------------

    Resolution: Invalid

Marking this bug as INVALID as it is not related to log4j 2.0. This JIRA
project is to support the development of log4j 2.0 which is still in a project
scoping and experimental phase.

The issue should be best addressed either on the log4j-user mailing list or as
a log4j bug (http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla). However, the report is
inadequate for a developer or other user to identify or reproduce the problem.
You did not specify the version of log4j, JVM and operating system in use which
is essential. The next issue is that we can not validate your assertion that a
logging request was actually made in that time, you just expected to see
something in the log and it wasn't there. From our perspective, we have no way
of knowing that the request was ever made. If you could create a test app that
makes a request at a fixed interval and you saw that it mysteriously failed at
specific time of day that could be helpful to confirm that there is actually a
log4j issue. If you can do that, I'd suggest filing a log4j 1.2 bug report and
attaching the test application.
