Would it be possible to mark the old versions as Released in Jira? This will update the Road Map and Change Log pages in Jira. It will also make adding new tickets more convenient: the Affected Version dropdown will have the last released version at the top and Fix Version dropdown will have the next unreleased version at the top of the list.
How: Go to Administration > (Select project Log4j 2) > Manage versions In the Manage Versions page you can click the Release link on past versions. Jira may complain that * 0.1 has unresolved issue Log4j2-33 * 2.0-beta5 has unresolved issue Log4j2-160 One way to deal with this is to change the Fix Version of these tickets to blank before releasing the versions.
