Yes Remko, Siva and me working on same issue.
Another problem I see RandomAccessFile Appender , with above same
configuration. Its creating binary log files (in the first line have binary
format) so we unable to read the logs. With this problem we are going with
File Appender.
We are using log 4j 2.0 rc2 version. I seen your forum this problem got
resolved in rc2 but still we are encountering this issue.
