Hi, i have the same issue here on my Windows 7/8 and on my OpenSuse 13 system
with the same settings, which are as follows:

The result is that the file, which got rolled over has the *.zip ending but
when I open it, it is a normal text file. So no compression is happening at
all. Same with other endings like *.gz, *.xz and so on.
