I agree that it would be best not to extend the public API of ThreadContext. I
had missed that part on my previous look at the issue.
Since ThreadContext.contextMap is not modified once initialised, may be that
value could be passed by ThreadContext::init to the ThreadContextAccess? (using
reflection to avoid the hard dependency?)
