Hello, I had a discussion with the JSR47 spec lead, Graham Hamilton, about the upcoming logging API. He seemed quite receptive to my arguments. Although nothing is certain, there is a distinct possibility that the JSR47 API will be improved in several ways. On the log4j home page, the link to my JSR47 critique has been removed. This should hopefully reduce the number of messages sent to [EMAIL PROTECTED] I wish to take this opportunity to thank the hundreds of users who have written to Sun to express their support for log4j and their concern regarding JSR47.
