I have started to do some logging using a SyslogAppender. The application that is making the log calls is running on Windows NT, although it will not always be so. The Syslog is running on a Solaris box. I find that when I view the syslog output, it contains ^M at the end of every line. My app is certainly not putting ^Ns in, so I assume that log4j is looking at the platform it is running on and inserting the CRs. Is there a way to alter this behavior?
