My question was more fundamental in nature. Has anybody written a C-based socket appender that can be used with log4c or log4cpp? At this stage, I am not concerned how the whole thing will be built, but I am interested in finding out whether something is available with which it is possible to enable logs from C/C++ programs going to a socket server based on SimpleSocketServer class of log4j.
Hope this clarifies the question.
