Hey Chris, I have not used LF5 very much, but I have used Chainsaw. I like Chainsaw because it allows you to filter the set of received events "retroactively". So, I can change the filter on the fly to focus on one aspect, then change it again to focus on something else. The interface just updates to display the events that pass the current filter.
