Ex: log4j.logger.org.struts=ERROR log4j.logger.org.strutsx=ERROR log4.logger.some.other.struts.package=ERROR Will only allow the struts stuff to log at a level of ERROR or higher. You could also specify OFF if you really never want to see any messages from these packages.
