Hi, We have a program using log4j for logging but program does not work and shows an error message "Cannot initialize log file" when we set (Control Panel>Regional Options>Set Default) "System Locale" from English(United States) to Turkish on a MS Windows 2000 Server. We try other languages such as Uzbek, Malay, French but it works. I have found that this error message is caused at the place where our program connected to Log4j at org.apache.log4j.xml.DomConfigurator.configure(String logfile)
