Here are a few ideas that may help:

- run Chainsaw via command line (not via web start) and increase the
memory you allocate to the VM
- make sure you're using a cyclic buffer of a reasonable size (it's a
per-tab setting)
- Possibly change the receiver 'threshold' from the receiver tab (will
only process events of that severity or greater)

Hi,

I am using CustomSQLDBReceiver with chainsaw and am running into an out
of memory error.  We have a lot of logs in our log table, which is why
the error is occurring.  Other than changing the query such that it
pulls back only a part of the logs, is there any way around this issue?
