Our log4j configuration. RollingFileAppenders or FileAppender (no matter what sort of appender we use, symptoms are the same). Rolling appender 3 files, 1GB each. Every appender work i asynchronous mode (buffer is set to 10000), but it is worth mentioning that when we've configured synchronous appenders symptoms were the same. Debug leven doesn't fix the problem. (When we set logging level to debug, memory is consumed much faster).
