Hi all,

there are three ZIPs in <http://people.apache.org/~bodewig/log4net/>
that correspond to what a release would look like. I mainly created
them to validate the build scripts but if you want to you may view them
as some sort of release candidate.

The archives have been created from trunk, there is one source archive
and two binaries coresponding to the two strong name keys. Please take
a look at them, play with them and raise any issues you encounter.

Right now I haven't created checksums as I'm pondering whether it is
worth adding a build-time requirement for NAntContrib just for the
checksum task if I'm going to PGP-sign the ZIPs on the command line on a
box with a working md5sum tool anyway.

I plan to finish the necessary site changes by the middle of next week
and unless anybody finds any serious flaws intend to build and call for
a vote of the final release then.

Cheers

        Stefan
