Recently the noise about NuGet packages became louder and the time has come talk about this. We know of two open issues that have to be addressed by the owner of the NuGet package distribution: <https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LOG4NET-395> https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LOG4NET-395 <https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LOG4NET-392> https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LOG4NET-392 Since it is not obvious that we, the ASF Apache Logging Services, do not maintain those we should try to get "cincura.net" on board or do something else that does not discriminate whoever uses NuGet to get log4net.
