Cheng,
        The MinimalLock locking model is considerably slower than the
ExclusiveLock model as it must open and close the file for every message,
rather then just once. If you do not log many messages this may not be a
serious problem, however you still run the risk of losing loged messages
if two processes colide when trying to write.
