A message on the infrastructure mailing list indicated that Alvaro and Knut had been issued their Apache accounts. Hopefully, they have received instructions on how to set up their account. I've added (hopefully) the appropriate karma for them to write to the log4php repository.

I've requested a project for log4php on the ASF's JIRA bug tracker, but it does not seem to have been added yet. When added it should appear as another project in the list of projects at http:// issues.apache.org/jira.

I've copied over the Maven project descriptor and some miscellaneous files from log4j-component which hopefully is enough to anyone who is interested to work on the log4php site/documentation. To build the "site", install Maven 2.0.6 and place on path, then:

maven site

The generated site will appear in target/site/index.html

I have not moved over the existing site content in src/xdocs. Probably good to write new content in APT: http://maven.apache.org/ guides/mini/guide-apt-format.html. Basically place new files in src/ site/apt/PAGENAME.apt and they will appear as PAGENAME.html in the site.

I'm will be out of touch for the next two days, but I wanted to surface enough to get the proper karma so that Knut and Alvaro can start committing their changes.
