rotate logfiles and assign date to filename

It would be great if there were an option to make the logfiles have a maximum
size (maxFileSize) and when that size is reached, the file is rotated and saved
with the name
<some name>-YmdHis.log
where YmdHis is the dateformat that is added to the filename.
