Hello,
great news, I hope You'll manage to get the IO buffering stuff for file
appender (earlier discussed ImmadiateFlush and BufferedIO options) in there as
well as now we have to stay at rather old 0.9.18 for performance reasons.

I am still around and will take some time off to work on logback. There
should be a new logback release next week.
