Hi,

Will LogicMail work over a GPRS/ 3G connection, without a Blackberry
data plan? I saw this question asked in a couple of other posts, but
didn't see any replies.

I am using LogicMail 2.0 (also tried 2.1 beta). They work when I am
connected to the Internet over Wi-Fi, but when I switch to GPRS/ 3G
nothing happens. I get popups saying LogicMail is unable to connect.

Some forums posts mentioned getting the APN settings and putting in
Option > Advanced Options > TCP. I did that, but that doesn't seem to
have helped.

Other apps, such as Opera Mini, work over GPRS/ 3G without a Blackberry
data plan. They work irrespective of whether I put anything in the APN
settings.

I changed the connection settings from Auto to TCP, MDS, etc to see if
any of those helps, but no luck.

Any suggestions or ideas please?

Thanks,
Rakhesh
