One other possibility: Could your local network have different IPs for 
the same hostname using a split DNS configuration?

If so, roaming in and out of your corporate network will always be 
problematic, although if the BlackBerry and Logicmail honours TTLs 
properly, setting a low TTL will work around the problem.
