Hi all,

The support for MySql is in good way, thanks to your explanations. I'm now able to log in and to see various screens (however lot are empty).

The bad thing is that my perl migration scripts from Oracle to MySql are far from perfects , and i will have a good amount of manual conversions to do.

The good thing is that the application is well designed, and so the migration to MySql is easy. Thanks!

Basically, and as explained by Steve Toback, i just have to report the select statements of the functions in the db.properties file for having mysql to work, now that my early MySqlBroker implementation is implemented (or more exactly has been derived from the Oracle implementation).

As soon as i will have finished implementing the needed things to be able to do the setup phase (like described on the website), i will prepare a (big) patch and send it here, or to anybody interested.

If you want to help, you can also retrieve the code on my subversion, but be warned that this isn't finished; and that this is a low-bandwidth homeserver (~ 100Ko/s up, anonymous read access).

I will also post installation instructions for MySql on my wiki. I will be glad to contribute the doc after it has been written ! :-)

Best regards, thanks for your help, hope the week-end will help me finish this task! (and my girl friend will not cry :-)
