Greetings,

I’m reaching out to see if anyone has had a similar experience with their 
instance of Lon-Capa.

An instructor uses the Course Editor to add a “Blank Web Page (editable)” to 
their course, follows the prompt to “Re-initialize the Course” but the course 
fails to Re-Initialize. The content still has the (re-initialize course to 
access) message. The instructor can exit Lon-Capa, return retrace their steps 
and re-initialize again but the content is not able to be edited. At this time 
the only resolution has been waiting patiently for an hour and or having 
another course coordinator edit the newly create content in the course.

Have anyone seen something similar where it takes a long time to re-initialize 
course content changes and allow someone to edit content? This is happening 
only for a specific course coordinator but can be recreated on multiple 
machines and instances. If so, do you have any suggestions regarding what could 
be causing the delay in reinitialization/inaccessible content?
