As per earlier advice from Dave Hannum at Purdue, you can assign a slot to a folder. The slot is the key. In order to access the slot, a student needs to verify the proctor. If this were live the proctor would walk up, verify the identification and then type their username and a secret code for the assessment. Here the student is required to type in the name of the proctor user (we created a user with the creative name “proctor” and assign it as an exam proctor in the course) and then paste the hidden password into the proctor password. Proctortrack has a process they call onboarding during which the students provide data so that they can be recognized later. The onboarding process also acts as a sample exam for them to try all of the mechanics.
