Wasn't that Lord Ashfield the then Chairman of LT taking the bows?

In front of RM 1 was RT 2776 following its trip to the USA. The some 12 years
later the stock number and body on this, unlike most of the GB plated buses,
was changed on its last overhaul to RT 1708 which led to it being scrapped. RT
2775 which also went but does not have the external ventilation grilles on the
front dome survives at Cobham.

  RM1 2m 45s in to the clip.

The event is in Regents Park in 1956 on the occasion of London Transport's
celebrations to mark the centenary of the former London General Omnibus Company.
